National Accountability Burea (NAB) expected to approve probe on corruption cases in meeting today

Islamabad executive board of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will hold a meeting presided by its chairman today.
During the meeting a proposal to begin investigation into corruption charges on former parliamentarian Shafqat Sheerazi and federal minister Sikander Hayat Bosan will be approved.
Sources close to the case said that investigations into allegations on Shafqat Sheerani have already been completed. The former parliamentarian was charged for illegal occupation of land and misappropriation of funds.
National Accountability Bureau has also decided to initiate a probe into charges leveled on Sikander Hayat Bosan. The federal minister has been charged of owning assets valued more than his source of income. Sources close to National Accountability Bureau said that initial evidence has been collected.
Sources disclosed that after the executive board provides permission to initiate inquiries against the individuals, a case will be registered against them.
